Monica Ruffin Assistant Principal of Jones Senior High School Ms. Monica Ruffin holds twelve years of experience as a classroom teacher and curriculum specialist. For the past two years, Ms. Ruffin has served as an Assistant Principal at a K-8 school. Her educational background involves an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from North Carolina Central University and a master's degree from East Carolina University in Elementary Education. Ms. Ruffin also obtained a K-12 Principal's License from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Ms. Ruffin was selected to participate in the NC Future Ready Leader 22-23 cohort with other assistant principals across the state of NC.
