Our baseball and softball project is delayed. Avolis Engineering asked our Board for a 45-day extension to the project contract. The extension request is due to the supply chain delay in materials. Most construction projects at this time are delayed for similar issues. We are eager to see the finished product but know in this circumstance a quality project will take a little longer.
The Board of Education wants to ensure the baseball and softball project is finished and of high quality, as it will serve our student-athletes and community for years to come. We eagerly await the completion of the project on March 15th. Thank you for your patience as wait for the completion of what we believe will be one of the finest baseball and softball complexes in Eastern North Carolina.
