Due to the potential of severe weather associated with Hurricane Idalia, Jones County Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, August 31st, for students and staff. On Friday, September 1st, Jones County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for students and staff. Please stay safe, and we look forward to students and staff returning to school on Friday.
