NCDPI Announcement
SAT and/or ACT scores must not be included on students' transcripts generated out of PowerSchool for several reasons:
The NCDPI is not the authoritative source of scores for college reporting; official score reports for college reporting must come directly from SAT/ACT.
Students make the decision and indicate on their SAT/ACT test booklet where they want their scores to be sent.
Clerical errors may occur when entering SAT/ACT scores into PowerSchool resulting in incorrect information for colleges/universities.
Colleges and universities may not realize that the score on the transcript is not the most recent score, which is often required in the admission process.
