The mission of the Jones Senior High School Guidance Department is to ensure that all students maximize their potential in the areas of academic,career,and personal/social development. We believe that our students are 21st century learners who will have a wealth of knowledge upon graduating from high school.
Jones Senior is on a "4 x 4" system. In the "4 x 4", students take 4 courses in the Fall, and 4 additional courses in the Spring. Each course is the equivalent of a year-long course on a "traditional" two-semester, year-long system. Our school day begins at 8:00a.m., and ends at 3:15 p.m. Each class last 90 minutes.
