I love teaching in Jones County because I enjoy working with students in a small school setting.  I believe that teaching students is my life calling and I want every student to be successful both in class and in life.  I am glad that our school helps every student develop leadership skills and positive habits.
I have a B.A. and a M.A.Ed.  from Wake Forest University and a C.A.S. from East Carolina University.  In addition, I have taken my classes for teaching at UNCW.
We have two furry friends in our classroom.  The guinea pigs' names are "Salt and Pepper" ("Pepper" for short) and "Coffee and Cream" ("Coffee" for short).  They love tomatoes and timothy hay.
