I was born in Chicago, Illinois but raised in Louisiana. I served 24 years in the United States Navy and retired in 2002. I attended Campbell University where I received by degree in Psychology in 2001. After I retired, I returned to school and earned my teaching certification at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2004. I have an additional licensure in AIG. This is my eighth year of teaching. I have really enjoyed making a difference and doing one of the things I love the most, working with children. I am looking forward to a WONDERFUL and EXCITING school year! I am married to a retired United States Marine and have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. I like to read, exercise and spend time on the beach.  | |
