As a native of Jones County, I graduated from Jones Senior High School in 1996. Teaching has always been in my blood. Early on before returning back to work on my degree in Education, I attended and completed coursework for my Business Management degree from Mount Olive College. I decided the business world was not for me and after graduating from East Carolina University in 2003 with a degree in Middle Grades Education, I decided to come back home and work at Jones Middle School. I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade in the past. I am certified to teach in three areas: English/Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. In May of 2010, I once again graduated from East Carolina University with my Master's in School Administration degree. Currently, I have moved into a new position as Instructional Coach and STEM Lab Facilitator for Jones Middle School. I am very excited about this new role and the opportunity to serve students and teachers in a different capacity. Jones Middle School is a great place to be ... come on out and see us!!! | |
