I am a native of Jones County, returning as a resident upon graduating from North Carolina Central University with a BA degree in Elementary Education. After returning to Jones County I taught in Craven County for approximately 16 years at which during that time I returned back to school at East Carolina University continuing my education receiving certification in Special Education. I came to Jones County School System in the late 90's and have been teaching as a exceptional children's teacher. During my time in Jones County School system I have become involved with the Jones County Recreational Department in which I have been involved with many students within the county.
