Hello, I am presently serving the students at Maysville Elementary School (MES) as the Media Specialist and AIG facilitator.  I have worked in NC for the past 25 years. I have also taught grades 1, 2, 4 & 5 in Jones County. Prior to coming to Jones County, I taught in Mecklenburg County and in Killeen, Texas.
 
I received my undergraduate degree from Winston-Salem State University and went on to obtain my masters degree in Early Childhood EDU. from Grand Canyon University. I also have a certification in Academically Gifted EDU. and Library Science from East Carolina University.
 
My husband Hazel and I have two wonderful daughters who are both educators in North Carolina.
