Click to see more pictures. ******************* Athletic Awards 2013 Banquet  (Click to see the night in pictures) Jones Senior High had its annual Athletic Awards Banquet last Thursday night. Mr. Meadows, Mr. Bracy, and Jones Senior Coaches presented the awards.  Jones Senior won the banner above for our students’ great record in good behavior during games. For seven (7) years in a row Jones Senior has played game after game without ejection. The 2013Sportsman Award was give to Jones Senior Athletic Department with a $1,000prize. When you smell the aroma of cakes being baked to perfection go see Ms. Blackwell. She and her students will be selling cakes for $1 during remediation. The young team consists of only one Senior, Brittany Baugus, and one Junior, Margaret Dorsey. The rest of the players are either Sophomore or Freshman. Sophomore players include Southern Maready, Destini Tyson, Paige Hart, Brittany Jones, and Amber Jones. Freshmen include Cassidy Sutton, Holly Sutton, Megan Downs, and Madeline Baugus. infield men are Brittany Baugus (pitcher), Holly Sutton (catcher), Southern Maready (first baseman), Brittany Jones (second baseman), Cassidy Sutton (short-stop), and Amber Jones (third baseman).
