  • The Scholastic Book Fair
    is returning to CES
     on February 16-21.
    Please plan to visit the
    book fair with your child!

  • February is Heart Month. 
    CES is hosting a Jump Rope for Heart event
    on Tuesday, February 28th. 
    K-2 students will be jumping from 9 to 10 A.  M.;
    students in grades 3-6 will be jumping from 1 to 2 P. M.
    Parents are welcome to come out and observe the event. 
    All proceeds will go to the American Heart Association.

  • Mrs. Leni Newell , Artist in Residence,
    is working with Comfort Elementary students.  
    Our students are creating some wonderful pieces of art.  
    There will be an Art Showcase
    to exhibit student projects on March 1st.   
    Details about the Art Showcase
    will be sent home later in the month.

Comfort Elementary School
"Home Of The Bears" 
 
Comfort Elementary is a Pre-K through 6th grade school located
in Jones County, NC.
 
 Comfort features a small community environment, small class sizes,
and up-to-date technology.
 
 In addition to the core curriculum, each child is provided with structured physical education each day. Students are also offered lessons in character education, technology, music, and media skills each week.
 
 Students can participate in extra-curricular activities including
Elementary Battle of the Books. 

 We love to hear from parents, students, and community members!
